Given 2012-12-29
Rosalia alpina is a difficult photograph to capture, but *iandras does it with excellence! With the focus on the 'superior' insect, it highlights even more how the 'inferior' one may have lost the battle, or perhaps we are witnessing a mating triumph instead? ( Featured by 3wyl )

Thank you! The distance between the lens and subject was very small, 40cm if I remember right.
